KARATE SUITS & EQUIPMENT

Wearing a Karate suit is completely optional - we do not insist on it. The only reason that we do suggest it is because the suit makes a nice noise when you get a technique right and therefore, it does (strangely enough) help people who are learning to get their technique right. If you do not wish to train with a karate suit, then you must wear a white t-shirt and either dark shorts or dark track suit bottoms. You must also wear a belt denoting your grade.

We normally have spare sparring gloves that people can borrow, and therefore the only absolutely mandatory equipment that you will need will be gum shields or tooth guards. If you don't bring them, you will not be allowed to spar!

We do not sell any equipment at all. If you wish to purchase Karate Suits, belts or any other training equipment, we suggest that you do so through Robbie Smith and his martial arts supplies company called Bushido.

Visit his website: Bushido Ltd view his catalogue and order on line if you wish.
